The Leadership Retreat
Division of Management Systems, Operation and Policy
(Vending Machines / Mobility Scooters)
Briefing by Caitlyn Hatcher, Maximus Consulting on
the Linkages and Leveraging 2050 Strategic Plan
First and last, thank you always for being here for little ole Caitlyn! You KNOW we're here to help you realize the hopes and dreams of ManagedSystVending - I love that name! It gets all of Management Operations and Systems and Coke machines and whatever you do into one word. It's so cool! You're like the best subdivision we've ever worked with and I sooooo feel you. I mean I feel as though I could even work in your office if it really came to that.
Now STOP! Before I go any further, a little birdie told me you’re all on edge because of - ok, bunny ears - “recent events.” All these Musk meanies are running around campus asking about our robust mission-critical Link and Lever 2050 Strat plan. The nerve of them!
Some debbie downers are even saying we might be in deep kimchi - us with our contract extension and you of course with your jobs. But even if these are dark days for all of us in the synergistic paradigms space I say we just ignore all the grumpy joes!!
Now I KNOW you’re crazy busy with Values and Voices listening sessions and loads of ginormous emails. You should have received mine - just focus on the 4th and 7th attachments – hope you have Excel! - and you'll be all set.
Before we get granular, I want to take a brief 30 minutes to download you on what we're calling - ok, double-up bunny ears! -the "New Paradigm." First, it's functionally matrixed from the old one. Until TBD we'll use the NP - that's the New Paradigm - to operationalize the dialogue into leveraged collaborations and what not.
Second, flowing from the NP - see how easy this is! - will be our Vision Statement. The VS will be system-engineered into three big buckets and two smaller ones and will shift our Paradigm - there's that word AGAIN! – and have us take our tools out of the buckets and dump them in the sandbox. Folks, I ask you: Can you say "game changer"?!
Let me jump ahead so we don’t waste time on all the gobbledygook specifics at the 50,000-foot level.
Now slide 11 on the screen behind me - this is from attachment number nine in my email - says 'Robust implah---' oh, scheewilligers, let's all read it together: 'Robust implementation of baseline technical policies providing workforce opportunities on linear performance platforms.' Now that wasn't so bad, was it?!
Now STOP! I know what you're thinking. Don't think it. Don’t even like go there. This isn't going to be a C4-ISR re-boot. The organic functions analysis went out with our Vision 3.2 statement. What we’re doing now is creating a seamless dialogue with the team-leaders of the stovepipes. We're gonna walk the talk. I mean I'm gonna be from Missouri on this. I'm gonna show you.
Ignore the hinky Polyps Funnel slide. But close your eyes for a second and conceptualize a vast array of stratagems and transformative modalities empowering us to move the ball downfield into what Charles - where is our Patrick Mahomey guy anyways? There you are, Chief Wampum! - calls a virtual end zone. I mean WHOA!
And ergo - I've always wanted to use that word! -- what I'm really seeing is a ground-level data-dump, a soup-to-nuts model that somehow gets us to new organizational modular fusions! Are you feeling me?! Raise your hand if you’re feeling me. Good, I see a few…oh you didn’t get the email? Charles, chop chop on the Outlook upgrade for Ms. Perky Parker over there.
And while we’re on the subject of transformational alignment let’s get serious about one thing, ' k? 'K? You need to let go of your personal space. That’s GONE! Bye bye! Because we will soon have holistic partnering that allows us to lean forward in real time. Think of it as a workplace re-imagining giving us the bandwidth to meet overarching eventualities.
As I've said many times in our workshops over the years it’s an iterative continuum we didn’t even imagine when you gave us this change management contract three years ago. Say it loud and proud! The ManageSyst is growing bigger and won’t be stopped!!
Why, oh my god! Thank you….thank you! Oh my god! Your support means so much to…I’m like so touched! I didn’t expect you to stand and clap…oh, you’re going to the breakfast buffet?
Ok that’s enough with the housekeeping. We have a hard stop in two minutes so dialogue with each other and then write down your thoughts if you have any on the green-striped Posties which we'll collect and try to enter in the virtual database. And oh, the Ops posse wants me to remind you the coffee machine in the break room doesn’t take dollar bills.
